Katy’s twin sister Emma died from COVID-19 complications within three days of Katy.
Tributes have been paid to a children’s nurse who died after contracting Covid-19.
Katy Davis has been described by her colleagues as ‘inspirational’ and ‘a nurse people would aspire to be like’.
The 38-year-old tested positive for coronavirus on admission to University Hospital Southampton [UHS], Hampshire, and died on Tuesday.
She worked at the hospital as the child health risk and patient safety lead.
